Eligibility for NDIS Support 

  • Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or Protected Special Category Visa holder.
  • Meet the disability or early intervention requirements.
  • Be under 65 years old when applying.
  • Meet any other conditions based on your situation.
  • Live in an NDIS-available area.

What Can NDIS Funding Cover?

  • Daily personal activities
  • Transportation for community, social, economic, and daily life activities
  • Employment support
  • Therapeutic supports, including behaviour support
  • Household tasks to maintain your home
  • Aids or equipment assessments, setup, and training
  • Home modification design and construction
  • Mobility and vehicle modifications

  • How Does The NDIS Work ?

The NDIS is structured to give participants more autonomy in selecting service providers and support that align with their personal goals. After an NDIS planning meeting, where individual needs and goals are discussed, funding is provided directly to participants. This allows for flexibility in choosing services that best suit their circumstances.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding for disability support, giving participants more choice and control. It helps individuals secure personalized service packages. For children under six, the NDIS offers support through the Early Childhood Approach (ECA) program.
